Sharon is a passionate advocate of positive psychology who firmly believes in the innate self-healing capability within every individual. She is a Provisional Clinical Member of Singapore Association of Counselling.

Having transitioned from the corporate world to the mental health industry, Sharon graduated from Monash University with a Master’s Degree in Counselling and has been a practising counsellor for over a year. Well-versed in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Sharon integrates these approaches into her practice to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, develop effective coping strategies, and cultivate mindfulness and acceptance. Additionally, she holds certifications as an active listener and Sandplay and Symbol Work therapist, providing clients with a powerful means of self-expression and healing.

Sharon’s approach is person-centric, rooted in the belief that everyone possesses the capacity for growth and self-healing. She tailors her services to meet the unique needs and goals of her clients, drawing from her corporate experience to enhance her practice. She recognizes the importance of mental well-being in both personal and professional spheres and is dedicated to helping individuals discover their inner resilience, develop coping strategies, and unlock their full potential. Sharon’s compassionate and empathetic nature enables her to build strong therapeutic relationships, fostering an environment where individuals feel safe and supported as they navigate their personal challenges.

In her free time, Sharon serves as a volunteer leader for a youth group, demonstrating her commitment to positively impacting young individuals’ lives. This experience enhances her ability to connect with and understand the unique challenges faced by young people, providing them with a supportive and nurturing environment to explore their concerns and aspirations.
