She also has a postgraduate Diploma in Child Psychology and Learning Disorders Management. In addition, she is a certified Victim Care Officer (VCO) with the Singapore Police Force’s Psychological Services Department and is a clinical supervisor.
With 9 years of experience, Vrushali has had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, couples, and families. She has worked in private education centres and as a Guidance Counsellor at an International School. Her volunteering experience with an NGO in India and All Saints Home in Singapore has also enriched her practice.

Vrushali is deeply committed to the values of non-judgemental counselling and uses a variety of therapeutic approaches. She is trained and uses in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Mindfulness, Gottman Couple Therapy (Levels 1 & 2), Family and Systemic Therapy (Levels 1 & 2), and EMDR. She works with families and individuals from a systemic perspective to promote healthier dynamics and a more positive environment. She integrates mindfulness-based cognitive therapy to help enhance emotional and mental well-being. SFT is particularly helpful when supporting those navigating grief, loss, trauma, or stress. Vrushali uses the Gottman Method to help couples build deeper understanding and maintain connection in their relationships.

Before becoming a counsellor, Vrushali spent 6 years working with children with special needs as an Education Therapist. Her sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by expatriates and families adjusting to new environments has informed her work. She draws on her experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds to help individuals and families cope with emotional and psychological challenges like stress, anxiety, loss, and relationship issues. Vrushali has also completed a Certificate of Attainment in Clinical Supervision to better support other therapists in their professional growth. She is inspired by the quote, “We can look for something positive each day, even if some days we need to look a little harder.”
